The National Weather Service is reporting that there is a growing potential for a major winter snow storm from Friday Night into Sunday, producing heavy snow, strong winds, and coastal flooding. As of 11 AM on Tuesday, January 16th, the NWS is predicting the snow will likely begin between late Friday and early Saturday morning, continuing throughout the day.

Highs for the weekend are expected to be around 32° for Friday and Saturday and 36° for Sunday, with lows as cold as 25°.  As the possible storm is still several days out it is too early to accurately predict how much snow will actually accumulate or for how long it will fall; however, the NWS has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the region as it continues to track the storm.
