SCPD: Man Wanted in Connection with Attempted Knifepoint Robbery of Eastport Gas Station

Eastport, NY - April 2, 2019 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who attempted to rob an Eastport gas station last month.
 
A man entered Valero, located at 125 County Road 51, on March 11 at approximately 11:35 p.m., displayed a knife and demanded money from the employee. The employee hit the panic alarm and the man fled with no proceeds. The suspect ran northbound on County Road 51 and entered a waiting vehicle near the intersection of County Road 51 and Eastport Manor Road.
