The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 7:30 PM in Bellmore.
According to Detectives, officers responded to a residential home located on New Place. Upon arrival, officers observed a heavy smoke condition coming from the basement. The Bellmore Fire Department and neighboring fire departments responded to extinguish the flames. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad was also at scene. The Red Cross was notified and responded to assist the displaced residents. No injuries were reported and no criminality is suspected at this time.
