Hempstead Man Arrested for Robbing Cell Phone Store at Gunpoint

Hempstead, NY - March 26th, 2015 - The Third Squad reports an arrest for Robbery on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 12:35 A.M. in Hempstead.
 
According to detectives, on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 Joseph Eulo, 48, of Parsons Drive, Hempstead entered the Metro PCS cell phone store located at 414 Hillside Avenue in New Hyde Park and threatened the male victim, 39, with a gun, demanding money. The victim complied giving Eulo an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim was alone in the store at the time of the incident. 
 
No injuries were reported. After an investigation Third Squad detectives assisted by Bureau of Special Operations Officers arrested Eulo at his home on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 12:35 A.M. without incident.
 
Eulo is being charged with Robbery 1st degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree.  It was discovered the defendant had an open Felony Parole Warrant during the investigation. He will be arraigned on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
