Long Island Blue Star Moms NY6 is proud to announce its upcoming Veterans Conference, scheduled to take place on April 27, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This event aims to provide valuable resources and support for veterans transitioning to civilian life, offering a platform for networking, education, and empowerment.

To be held in the ballroom on the beautiful campus of Farmingdale State College, the conference will feature a diverse range of speakers and exhibitors tailored to meet the unique needs of veterans. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with industry professionals, connect with fellow veterans, and gain insights into various career paths, educational opportunities, and support services available to them.

The conference will feature newly elected Suffolk County Executive Edward Romaine,  Veteran Service Agency directors; Ralph Esposito from Nassau and Marcelle Leis from Suffolk, keynote presentations and panelists from distinguished veterans and leaders in the field, addressing topics such as career transition strategies, educational benefits, mental health resources, entrepreneurship opportunities, and more. Upon returning HOME, our military personnel need support in many areas including financial planning, employment placement and education options, as well as accessing VA benefits.and more.

"We understand the challenges that veterans may face as they reintegrate into civilian life," said Rosemarie Kluepfel. "Our goal is to create a supportive environment where veterans can access the resources, information, and connections they need to thrive in their post-military careers and personal lives."

The Veterans Conference at Farmingdale State College SUNY is open to ALL, especially veterans of all branches and eras of service, as well as active-duty service members, reservists, National Guard members, military spouses, and dependents. Admission to the conference is free, and pre-registration is highly encouraged. as space is limited.
