Police in Search for 4 Men Who Burglarized Home in Roslyn Heights

Roslyn Heights, NY - February 25, 2017 - The Third Squad reports the details of Burglary which occurred on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 12:40 am in Roslyn Heights.

According to detectives, four male blacks entered a Sherwood Lane home through a side door an approached a female victim, 63, and demanded she give them money.  One of the suspects wearing a red jacket threatened the victim while another held her down and ripped a gold chain from her neck.  One of the other suspects removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim’s pocketbook.  The four suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.  The victim’s husband, 66, was also present sleeping in a different part of the home at the time of the incident.  No injuries were reported.  No further description is available at this time.
