Medford Drunk Driver Hits Cop Car
Police have arrested 45-year-old Pandoria Jackson, who is facing a Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) charge along with other charges after allegedly fleeing police for miles and hitting two vehicles including a cop car on Friday night.

Jackson was pulled over in a Ford SUV in Medford near the intersection of Horseblock Road and Sills Road. She refused to roll down her window and then sped away when Officer Jaime Bustamante attempted to open her car door. Police pursued Jackson for a short time, and then followed at a safe distance.

She continued to flee along County Road 101 in Bellport before hitting a stop sign, a cop car and almost narrowly missing two officers on foot. The chase continued along 101 until Jackson hit a Jeep that was stopped at a red light. Police then arrested Jackson around 9:30 p.m. Jackson, the driver of the Jeep and two officers were treated for minor injuries after the incident. Nobody was seriously injured.

Jackson is being charged with a felony DWI, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle and reckless driving. She was scheduled for arraignment at the First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday.
