NCPD reports the arrest of Pierre Fede of Uniondale, 29, after he allegedly robbed a man with a machete.

Uniondale, NY - February 13, 2018 - The First Squad reports the arrest of a Uniondale man for Robbery that occurred on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 12:55 am in Uniondale.
 
According to detectives, 911 received a call for a male armed with a machete attacking another male on Duryea Avenue. Upon arrival, police observed a male running with a machete at the intersection of Cedar Street and Duryea Avenue. First Precinct Officers’ placed the defendant Pierre Fede, 29, under arrest without further incident. 
 
The 25 year old male victim suffered lacerations and abrasions to his face and ear and was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The investigation also revealed that the victim’s cell phone and an undetermined amount of US currency were stolen by the defendant.
 
Defendant Fede is being charged with Robbery 1st and 2nd Degrees and Assault 1st and 2nd Degrees. He will be arraigned on Monday, February 12, 2018 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
