Three in Police Custody for Allegedly Selling THC Products Out of Bellerose Terrace Smoke Shop

The Major Case Bureau reports the arrests of three (3) men for Criminal sale of a Controlled Substance that occurred on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 4:40 pm in Bellerose Terrace.
 
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives, an investigation was conducted at Convenience and Smoke located at 225-04 Jamaica Avenue.  During the investigation, products containing Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) were sold.  Narcotics Detectives and 3rd Pct. POP (Problem Oriented Police) officers recovered hundreds of bags/products containing THC and products containing Cannabis.  Thousands of flavored nicotine products that were on display for sale and in a back room were seized.
  
The following individuals were arrested:
 
  • Ahmed Mahmood Ali, 22, of 330 New Lots Avenue, Brooklyn.
  • Mohamedou Mohamed Sidiya, 26, of 84-09 35th Avenue, Queens.
  • Mohamed Abdellahi, 27, of 83-09 35th Avenue, Queens.
 
The defendants are charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree and two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled 5th Degree.  They will be arraigned on Friday, January 26, 2024 at First District Court, Hempstead.
