Suffolk County Police Department Seeking Suspect in Bohemia Bank Robbery

Bohemia, NY - January 15, 2019 - Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Monday, January 14 in Bohemia.
 
A man entered Capital One, located at 4110 Veterans Memorial Highway, at 9:43 a.m., approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the man’s demands and gave him cash from the drawer. The man fled on foot eastbound on Veterans Memorial Highway and then southbound on Corporate Drive.
 
The man was described as white, between 25 and 30 years old, approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build, dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, sneakers, a black Nuggets hat and was carrying a backpack.
 
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this robbery to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
