Santa Claus is comin’ to town! Here’s where to bring the kids for holiday fun and photo ops.

Even though Santa and his reindeer gang won’t make their official visit until Christmas Eve, you can still bring the kids to meet St. Nick at these locations throughout Long Island.

Bayville Winter Wonderland

Known as “Long Island’s Winter Holiday Park,” Bayville Winter Wonderland has ice skating and attractions including Santa’s Toy Factory Funhouse, Holiday Miniature Golf & Lights, a train ride, and of course…Santa!

You can purchase a Magical Santa Experience for $15 per family (when added to a regular admission ticket) which includes a meeting and photo with Santa, plus a letter from Santa which will be sent to your child before Christmas. Hicks Nurseries

Gather your kids and the camera and visit Santa at the beautiful Hicks Nurseries. While you are there, don’t miss the animated children’s Christmas story, which has become a family holiday tradition. Children can also mail a letter to Santa and get a response (with a self-addressed stamped envelope) if mailed by December 16. Admission is free but visitors are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Long Island Cares food pantry. Drop off bins are located by the animated story.

Roosevelt Field Mall

Get into the holiday spirit at the Smith Haven Mall. Children and pets can meet and take photos with Santa. Dates and times vary, see website for details.

There will also be a free event for children with special needs on Sunday, November 24 featuring a Caring Santa. The sensory-friendly experience is designed to provide a subdued and welcoming environment. Sign up online

The Farmingdale and East Meadow Stew Leonard’s locations will be hosting breakfast with Santa events on December 14 and 15. Enjoy brunch with Santa and his friend Wow the Cow. Walt Whitman Shops

The mall is also hosting private Caring Santa photo experiences for children with special needs and their families on December 1 and 15. The events are being held during private mall hours and will support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of children of all abilities. 

White Post Animal Farm
