Well all, first off Hello again, and sorry for not writting in awhile. I recently moved back in to my parents house and had very little time to set it up, work, and still enjoy my summer.
I am glad my life has somewhat settled down giving me free time, and its actually great to be back home; though my mother and I still fight like i'm a 13 year old girl asking to do 21 year old woman things. But anyways....
I am writting to you all with a heavy heart this time around. September 11th, 2001 is a day that will - in my mind and heart - never be forgotten. It will always be apparent to me that on that day in my time this country was both ripped apart by a brutal and unthinkable act of war, and brought closer together. More so than anyone in their life thought we would be.
I have lost many friends in this tragedy. I, like many others I know are strugling for answers...But finding there are no answers and no easy solutions either. All I can say in this time of absolute sorrow and never ending hope is this -We will prevail.
The strength this country has demostrated and determination that our political leaders have gave us is only the begining. But it is through the strength of the human spirit that we give each other not just as americans but as PEOPLE that will guide us all through this unbearable time.
Remeber that People not a race are resposible for this act - so please do not punish those of arab or muslim background. Though there are a few disgusting people that agree with this - the Majority are good and kind people who are just as shocked and horrified as the rest of us. And do your part. Wave a flag, Give someone you haven't seen or heard from in awhile a call, and just immearse yourself in the true Patriotism that this country has to offer now.
And in several months from now let us not wain from the unity from which we have now - but let it grow stronger, so that the whole world can see How United these states; these people; truely are.
God Bless America....Land of the free, and Home of the Brave.
