The Public Information Office reports on a Water Rescue that occurred on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 4:00 PM in Bayville.
According to Police, Marine 11 of the Nassau County Police Marine Bureau Unit was actively monitoring VHF radio frequencies when they heard reports of an overturned Jet Ski with three people in the water off the LI Sound. Marine 11 along with the Town of Oyster Bay Constables did respond and located the three individuals and overturned jet ski. Both crews were able to assist the three people and their jet ski back to the boat it was launched from. No injuries were reported at scene.
