The Melville Chamber of Commerce and trade show producer Expos Your Business have assembled a dedicated group of influential business people to produce an event called the Long Island Real Estate & Business Renaissance. As the name suggests, the goal is to bring back the Long Island economy through the real estate industry. This two day convention will focus on all aspects of:
• Commercial Real Estate
• Residential Real Estate
• Franchising and Business
According to Michele Michael, commercial real estate broker with MGM Islandwide Realty, Inc., the show's creator and inspiration, " these four major sectors of the economy need to unite to create a fertile environment for doing business on LI. We want to show the world that Long Island is a great place for people to live and do business. We also need an event on Long Island instead of having to go somewhere else all the time."
The Long Island Real Estate & Business Renaissance will be held at the Hilton Long Island in Melville on Friday and Saturday, June 1 and 2. The days were strategically chosen to attract both the industry professional and residential public.
"There are several factors that make this event truly unique", says event producer Mark Neuwirt.
"The first factor is that the Long Island Real Estate & Business Renaissance is the only real estate trade show of it's kind ever held on Long Island. With a projected 70 hours of educational seminars over two days, including 3 accredited continuing education classes, all provided at no cost plus a projected 150 exhibitors, the event will be a true convention. There is a $10 admission cost which includes both days.
The second factor is that this is the first time that so many professional associations are participating in one event. The significance of this support cannot be minimized. The message is clear. We are Long Island!"
To date, the participating professional organizations include:
• Association of Contingency Planners
• Association for Facilities Engineering
• Long Island Chapter of International Facility Management Association
• Long Island Board of Realtors
• Long Island Builders Institute
• Long Island Development Corporation
• Long Island Commercial Network
• Long Island Housing Partnership
• Long Island Small Business Assistance Corp
• National Association of the Remodeling Industry
• New York State Commercial Association of REALTORS®, Inc.
• The Retail Network
• Vision Long Island
• United States Green Building Council, LI Chapter
"Last but most important, the quality and quantity of the programs to be presented speaks volumes. With over 70 hours committed, the knowledge offered at this show will enhance the ability of the Long Island Real Estate professional to more effectively market Long Island as a place to live and do business. It will also provide the Long Island resident information that will make it more affordable and appealing to stay here and hopefully dedication to the Long Island Real Estate & Business Renaissance and the goals it seeks to achieve."
Again quoting Michele Michael, "Long Island needs an event all it’s own, an event Long Islanders look forward to year after year!"
We urge you to participate in this event as it was created for you!
