(Freeport, NY) Venture Pitch 2012 is accepting submissions for the next great business idea. Entrepreneurs can receive a chance to demonstrate their genius to the investment community and jumpstart their vision. Individuals can submit their ideas to tinyurl.com/VP2012.

Judging will take place on Thursday, March 15th where finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their cutting edge ideas to potential investors and regional business leaders live. Based on a concept by Ana Carril-Grumberg, Internet Filmmaker to Deepak Chopra Global, Venture Pitch 2012 will be part of EXPOS Your Business and NY Multicultural Business Expo taking place at Leonard's of Great Neck.

Venture Pitch 2012 will feature star panelist from the hit ABC's TV series Shark Tank Daymond John. Daymond will be joined by a panel of regional business leaders, moderator Rob Basso, author of the Everyday Entrepreneur and producer of Basso On Business, and a room full of regional business elite. Prizes for the top submissions include a free year of biweekly payroll services provided by Advantage Payroll; promotional video and publicity support on BassoOnBusiness.com and ExposYourBusiness.com. Finalist will also be personally introduced to members of the venture capital community and local potential investors.

"Our mission is to discover and support emerging business leaders. In today's turbulent and uncertain economy we need more entrepreneurs and small business owners. These creative individuals and small businesses will lead our way to economic recovery. I am certain that we will receive interesting submissions and meet inspiring entrepreneurs as part of this program," said Rob Basso, president of Advantage Payroll Services Long Island and producer of Basso on Business.

"The recent economic downturn has created the need for talented people to rely on their ingenuity and their imagination to create careers for themselves. This need will foster an explosion of growth in new ideas for business and society. We look forward to giving a forum and recognition to these future stars," said Mark Neuwirt, president of Expos Your Business and producer of the NY Multicultural Business Expo.

Tickets to the event are $60 and the business idea submissions fee is $100 and includes admission. All attendees will also receive a copy of Rob Basso's recently released book "The Everyday Entrepreneur."
