All are invited to attend Smithtown’s annual party on Main Street with 300+ sidewalk vendors, arts & crafts , great food and entertainment from 10:30 am-4:00 pm. The Smithtown Theater for Performing Arts located on Main Street, in the middle of the festival will be featuring the performance of their latest hit show, AVENUE Q at 2:00 pm, inside the theater.
Local talent will be providing the free entertainment for the day, with famous DJ Keith Alexander (from EJ the DJ) announcing the day’s stars and schedule. An array of talent will be performed with such groups as The Nesaquake Fiddle Club, The Smithtown High School East Trombone Quartet, The Smithtown High School West Jazz Choir and Smithtown Elementary Choir. Also on the marquee will be Rock & Roll University Band, Dynamic Baton Twirling, Zumba lessons and a work-out session with Gold’s Gym leading the shout-outs and Sportime of Kings Park promises to provide a dance routine you won’t want to miss! Spotlighted for the first time at the festival is The Selden Cadets Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps, an 8-year young group that has been traveling the Northeast and recently performed at The Tilles Center. Children inflatable rides, face painters, caricatures and raffles with something for everyone will add to the festivities of the day.
Try on for size and get behind the wheel of the latest car models from Smithtown Ford-Lincoln, Smithtown Toyota-Kia, Smithtown Nissen and Mercedes Benz – when these dealership will be spotlighting their latest editions.
