Temple B’nai Torah, Wantagh, will honor over 25 student-teacher aides (also known as Madrichim) of The Susanna E. Heiman Religious School on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 7:30PM. These young people ages 12-18 volunteer their time on Sunday morning assisting in the school office, classroom, art room, dance, and music programs. Madrichim, attend workshops run by Rabbi Deana Pasternak, Director of Education, have an opportunity to go behind the scenes of running a classroom including preparing and teaching lessons and special event programs.
