Celtic Quest

It’s almost Fluke Season! One of Long Island’s most popular fish will be in-season as of May 1st, which means that you’ll want to book your chartered fishing trip now!

All private charters include rods, bait, and tackle, so you’ll have everything you need to reel in some delicious fish.

The Celtic Quest will be running daily, so you’ll have all the chances you need to catch the big one. May 1st also marks the start of porgie season, so there will be plenty of fish in the sea!

Dear Long Islander,
Long Island got an unexpected surprise to start the workweek as a several inches of snow piled up Monday morning. What was hopefully the last snowfall before next winter melted away quickly as temperatures rose later in the day, but not before making a muck of the morning commute. With winter behind us it is now time to look forward to the warmth of spring, and there is certainly plenty to look forward to. Long Island’s own NY Cosmos will soon be celebrating their championship and starting the new soccer season, fishermen need only wait a few short weeks for the start of fluke season, and not long after that an exciting lineup of musicals will be coming to the Island’s oldest theater!
