Hempstead Man Arrested for Burglarizing North Bellmore Home

North Bellmore, NY - June 12th, 2014 - The First Squad reports details of an arrest of a Hempstead man for Burglary that occurred on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 9:37 A.M. in North Bellmore.

According to detectives, the defendant Carlos Parada-Hernandez, 45, of 50 Jackson Avenue, was observed by an off-duty Nassau County Detective Lieutenant acting suspiciously and then attempting to gain entry to a side door of a Metropolitan Avenue home.  The detective approached the subject, identified himself and questioned the subject.  The investigation revealed the defendant was in possession of burglars tools and the screen doors of the residence were found pried open.  The detective placed Carlos Parada-Hernandez under arrest without incident.

The defendant is charged with Burglary 2nd degree and Possession of Burglar Tools and was arraigned on Wednesday, June 12, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead.
