Four Suspects Arrested After Patchogue Break In

Suffolk County police arrested four suspects in connection to a home invasion that happened just minutes earlier. Police say the group is responsible for a string of break-ins in the area. The suspects - Francisco Sanchez, Marvin Escobar, Robert Alcantara, and Jose Castro - were arrested Friday morning after they allegedly stole jewelry from an East Patchogue home. Sanchez is said to be the ring-leader of the group who detectives believe is responsible for thefts in six other Suffolk County towns including Holtsville, Farmingville, Medford, Bay Shore, North Bay Shore and Terryville. Sanchez works for a company called Nationwide CATV, a subcontractor for Cablevision. Cablevision released a statement Saturday, stating: “We are cooperating fully with the police and are immediately suspending work with the Nationwide subcontracting company, which provides a limited amount of work only in Suffolk County, New York, pending a complete review and  through investigation.”
