Scallops Baked in Shells

    Ingredients

    • 2 lbs. Calico Scallops, fresh or frozen
      5 tbsp. Butter (or other fat), melted
      1/4 cup Ketchup
      1/2 tsp. Salt
      Dash of Pepper
      1/4 tsp. Sugar
      2 cups Cracker Crumbs
      1/4 cup Sliced Green Onion
      Paprika

    Directions

    1. 1) Thaw frozen scallops. Remove any shell particles and wash.

      2) Combine 4 tablespoons butter, the ketchup, salt, pepper, sugar cracker crumbs, and scallops. Place in 6 well-greased individual shells or 10-ounce
      casseroles.

      3) Combine green onion and 1 tablespoon butter; place on top of scallop mixture. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees F) for 25 to 30 minutes, or until brown.

      4) Sprinkle with paprika.
