Long Island, NY - December 22, 2017 - “I am honored and humbled to be named to the New York State Farm Bureau’s Circle of Friends for 2017. Our state’s agricultural and production sector is growing and has become one of the best in the nation, but we can only stay there by continuing to give our hard-working farmers a voice in Albany.

“Whether it’s dairy, livestock or vegetables, these dedicated men and women fearlessly face flooding, drought and insects, yet still come out on top. They work day and night to feed our families and it is my honor to protect their livelihood in Albany. Initiatives like the “Grown in New York” & "Grown on Long Island" programs and Agriculture Local Assistance, are central to our farmers’ success, and I look forward to continuing to support them as we head into the 2018 Legislative Session.”

Assemblyman Dean Murray represents the 3rd District, which includes portions of Brookhaven, Medford, and Mastic Beach in Suffolk County. For more information, visit Assemblyman Murray’s Official Website.
