Man Arrested for Robbing Teen in Parking Lot of Uniondale McDonalds

Uniodale, NY - December 21st, 2013 - The First Squad reports the Arrest of a Hempstead man for Robbery that occurred in Uniondale on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 6:20 pm.
 
According to detectives, a 17 year old male victim was sitting in his parked car at the McDonald’s parking lot located at 1110 Hempstead Turnpike when the defendant Nickles H. Sample 17, of 123 Emery Street and another not yet identified male subject approached and asked the victim to exit his car. Upon exiting the male subject began punching the victim in his head and demanded money. Defendant Nickles H. Sample then reached into the vehicle and grabbed an undetermined amount of US currency. Both the defendant and the subject then fled in Nickles H. Sample 2000 Ford that struck the victim’s vehicle while exiting the lot. The victim then called the police after attempting to follow the defendant’s vehicle. A subsequent investigation led detectives to the defendant Nickles H. Sample residence and placed him into custody without incident. The other subject is still being sought and has not been identified. There were no injuries reported. 
 
Nickles H. Sample is charged with Robbery 2nd Degree and Leaving the scene of an Incident. He will be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Saturday December 21, 2013.
