NCPD: Elmont Robber on the Loose

The NCPD is asking for help tracking down a suspect in a Robbery which took place this weekend.

Elmont, NY - December 15, 2013 - The Fourth Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Elmont on Sunday, December 14, 2013 at 9:30 pm.
 
According to detectives, a 55 year old male victim was walking on Greenway Boulevard near Norfolk Drive East when two unknown males exited a white car that was driven by another unknown male driver and approached the victim. Subject one who is described as being male black, 5’11” tall, average build, black hooded sweatshirt, displayed a black handgun and took a pack of cigarettes from victim’s pocket. Subject two who is described as being male Hispanic, 5’11” tall, average build, black hooded sweatshirt, took the victim’s shoulder handbag, cell phone, and wallet from his pockets and was told to kneel on the ground. Subject one then struck the victim in the head with the handgun causing a laceration to his forehead. The subjects were then picked up by the white car that fled the scene heading west on Cromer Avenue. The victim was transported by a Nassau County Police Ambulance and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
