As part of the Long Island Nets’ Season of Giving initiative, three of the team’s players - Justin Jackson, Chris Walker, and Adam Woodbury - spread holiday cheer by surprising six families with a holiday shopping spree at the Elmhurst Target at 8801 Queens Boulevard Elmhurst, NY this past Sunday, Dec. 12 at 11 a.m.
 
The families with children, ages 3-15, are from the Allied Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that aims to improve the health and wellbeing of residents within Allied Physicians Group’s geographical footprint, that currently includes Long Island, Queens and Brooklyn.
 
About the Long Island Nets
