The Town of Huntington is thrilled to announce its 3rd Annual Polar Plunge event, in collaboration with Special Olympics New York, to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics and its athletes.
 
Taking place on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at the Frank P. Petrone Crab Meadow Beach located at Waterview St. W, Northport, NY 11768, this year's Polar Plunge promises an exhilarating experience for participants and spectators alike. Registration will start promptly at 8:30 AM and run until 9:30 AM, with the plunge scheduled from 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM.
 
Councilman Dr. Dave Bennardo expressed his anticipation for this charitable event, remarking, "The watermay be cold, but our hearts are warmed by our partnership with our friends at Special Olympics NY."
