The list of awards he has won is as long as your sleeve. So are the tattoos that decorate both his arms. He’s also been crowned champion of Food Network’s “Chopped," all while beating cancer. More than once.

Now, Chef Eric LeVine has his sights set on Farmingdale with his newest restaurant 317 Main Street. And, yes, it is located at 317 Main Street.

Touted as more than a dinner, Chef Eric’s tagline is that dining at 317 Main is an experience. The American Grill opened on September 10th this year, serving up meals in a unique restaurant and event space.

“We feature a seasonally changing menu, open kitchen, special chef’s table as well as some really cool serving pieces,” Chef Eric told LongIsland.com by email.

For example, food from their kids menu is actually served in a lunch box. They also feature a fun dessert display where the server will roll up to the table and show you their desserts plated for you.

They didn’t stop with the food. The beverage menu at 317 Main Street was created to give his guests a wide range and variety of options.

“Our goal from day one was to show local spirits, wine, as well as craft beers,” he said.

317 Main Street will also offer cooking classes, dinner theater, wine dinners, beer dinners, and live music.

Location: 317 Main Street, Farmingdale, (516) 512-5317.
