Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to locate a man wanted for petit larceny and menacing at a Farmingville supermarket.

Farmingville, NY - November 8th, 2013 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to locate a man wanted for petit larceny and menacing at a Farmingville supermarket.

Edwin Aguirre stole merchandise from Stop and Shop, located at 2350 North Ocean Avenue, on September 7 at approximately 8:45 p.m. When a store employee confronted Aguirre in the parking lot, Aguirre poked the employee in the chest with a pocket knife. Aguirre, 30, whose last known address is 237 Birchwood Drive, Coram, fled the scene in a black Jeep Grand Cherokee with Connecticut license plate OAA GK9.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
