Woodbury, NY - October 11, 2018 - The Second Squad reports the arrest of a woman from Bohemia for Grand Larcenies that occurred from 2011 to August 2018 in Woodbury.
According to detectives, Joanne Ervolina, 51, is a former employee of the Woodbury Country Club located at 884 Jericho Turnpike. The defendant, while employed with the country club, made unauthorized charges on a company credit card as well as the victim’s personal credit card from 2011 until August 2018. She was placed under arrest without incident on today’s date. The total loss to the victim exceeded $80,000 USC.
Joanne Ervolina is charged with Grand Larceny 2nd Degree and two (2) counts of Grand Larceny 3rd Degree. She will be arraigned on Thursday, October 11, 2018 in First District Court in Hempstead.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
