Rockville Center, NY - October 8th, 2013 - Long Island Authors and Writers Society will host a free workshop -- Facebook, Twitter and Creating a Website with award-winning, bestselling author Yvonne Capitelli.
The LIAWS workshop takes place on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the Rockville Centre Library, 221 North Village Ave, Rockville Centre, NY 11570. The evening will focus on using Facebook, Twitter, creating a website, and the importance of having an online presence. Attendees are urged to bring their laptop computers for this hands-on, interactive workshop.
"Most new authors, whether they are traditionally published or self-published, don't realize the importance of having a strong online presence," says LIAWS president, Tom Gahan. "This is the second workshop of a three part series dealing with issues of self-promotion and marketing, which apply to everyone."
The third and last free workshop of the series titled, Using the Irrefutable Laws of Marketing to Promote Your Writing, takes place Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM at Suffolk Community College's Riverhead campus at 20 East Main Street, Riverhead, NY 11901 - Room 222.
