It’s summer time! But it’s… raining? Don’t fret; there are plenty of places to go and plenty of things to do on a rainy day on Long Island. From movie theaters to malls, even aquariums, the rainy day choices might even sound as appealing as the choices you have on a warm cloudless day. If you are in the mood to sit back and relax in this stormy weather, going to see the latest movie released is probably a perfect option for you. With an endless amount of theaters spread across the island, the only difficulty is choosing which one you see your movie at! Show times are posted online and often there are deals on popcorn, soda and candy combinations. If you are choosing to see a 3D movie, make sure the movie theater you plan on going to is showing the correct format. Depending on times, certain theaters show either the 3D or regular format of a movie. Multiplex’s often show both. Check your local listings.
