Woman Flees Vehicle, Calls Police When Confronted with Three Armed Carjackers in Hempstead

Hempstead, NY - October 5, 2017 - The Third Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 8:35 pm in Hempstead.
 
According to detectives, the female victim, 48, was sitting in her 2017 BMW 330i on Patterson Avenue north of Oakmont Avenue. The vehicle was parked when three (3) male subjects entered her car. 
 
The first subject entered the front passenger seat and displayed a silver handgun. The other two subjects entered the rear of the vehicle. The subject in the front passenger seat demanded the victim drive away. The victim exited the vehicle, fled to a residence on Patterson Avenue and called 911.
 
The BMW was removed from the scene and later located in the vicinity of Homan Avenue and Kennedy Avenue.
 
The first subject is described as a male black in his late teens. The other two subjects are males (no further description).
