Now that autumn is here the fall festivities have begun. Enjoy all that Long Island has to offer this season. Below we suggest some different things to help you enjoy fall.

 

Long Island Maritime Museum's 31st Annual Halloween Boat Burning - Long Island Maritime Museum's 31st Annual Halloween Boat Burning will feature entertainment for all ages. Location: Long Island Maritime Museum, 88 West Avenue, West Sayville.

 

Stony Brook's 31st Annual Scarecrow Competition - The Ward Melville Heritage Organization’s 31st Annual Scarecrow Competition – where scarecrows line the walkways all throughout Stony Brook Village! Create your own scarecrow masterpiece! Cash prizes for winners in three categories (previous winner/professional, adult/family, children (under 12). Location: Stony Brook Village Center, Main Street on the Harbor, Stony Brook.

 

White Post Fall Farm Festival - Come to the The White Post Fall Farm Festival for outdoor fun for the whole family. Festival Admission includes: The famous White Post Animal Farm & Bird Aviaries, Unlimited Hayrides, Play in the Hay activity, Fun family shows and animal acts in the cornfield, Outdoor picnic area and playgrounds and Pumpkin Field. Pumpkins, Pony rides, Train Rides, Pumpkin Painting & Feed for animals and birds and humans are available at an additional cost.

 

Long Island Fall Festival 2021 - The largest of its kind in the Northeast, the Long Island Fall Festival has become the premiere event for family fun. Brought to you by the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Huntington, this event is held annually during Columbus Day weekend and attracts tens of thousands of families from all over the New York tri-state area to the 25 acres of Heckscher Park. Location: Heckscher Park, 2 Prime Avenue, Huntington.

 

Spooky Fest Long Island's Halloween Attraction - Spooky Fest, Long Island's Halloween tradition is returning to the Center for Science Teaching & Learning (CSTL) in Rockville Centre. CSTL’s Spooky Fest brings Halloween fun and adventure for people of all ages, offering something for everyone through its access to its scary and non-scary attractions. Attractions include a Non-Scary Enchanted Forest Walk, Scary Walk through the woods, Maze of Horror and a Kids Arts and Crafts Area. This family-friendly event is open to all ages. Location: he Center for Science Teaching and Learning: Tanglewood Preserve, 1450 Tanglewood Road, Rockville Centre.

 

East Hampton Village Fall Festival Weekend - The 2021 East Hampton Village Fall Festival Weekend will be bringing plenty of seasonal entertainment to East Hampton. Location: East Hampton Village.

 

Halloween Spooktacular at Sweetbriar Nature Center - Come to Sweetbriar Nature Center all ghoulies, ghosties, and other Halloween creepies for an evening of fun and excitement. Enjoy eerie animal presentations, a ghostly graveyard, creepy games, scary music, and spooky night trails. Location: Sweetbriar Nature Center, 62 Eckernkamp Drive, Smithtown.
