Brooklyn Man Busted After Damaging Three Cars with Rocks, NCPD Reports

Cops: Titus Garcia, 30, allegedly caused a combined total of over $3,500 in damage to three vehicles.

NCPD reports the arrest of Titus Garcia of Brooklyn, 30, for Criminal Mischief.

Lynbrook, NY - Sept. 18, 2018 - Fifth Squad detectives report the arrest of a Brooklyn man for Criminal Mischief that occurred on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 7:30 pm in Lynbrook.
 
According to detective, Lynbrook Police Officers responded to a 911 call for a person throwing rocks at cars on Peninsula Blvd. from Lynbrook’s train station platform. Upon arrival, officers observed a male on the south platform who fled eastbound after noticing police.  Officer located the subject a short time later.
 
A thorough investigation was conducted and Titus Garcia, 30, was arrested. It was determined Garcia was responsible for damaging the following vehicles:
 
  • 2007 BMW - $500 worth of damages
  • 2018 Infinity - $2,500 worth of damages
  • 2017 Mercedes Benz - $750 worth of damages
Defendant Garcia is charged with Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, two (2) counts of Criminal mischief 3rd Degree and Reckless Endangerment. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at First District Court, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
