Lloyd Neck, NY - September 9th, 2013 - The Suffolk County Department of Health Services has closed Lloyd Neck Estates Beach in Lloyd Neck to bathing due to the finding of bacterial levels in excess of acceptable criteria.
Additionally, West Meadow Beach in Stony Brook has reopened to bathing as recent samples collected show the water quality to be within acceptable levels.

Update: As per a Press Release released on the 10th, the beach has been reopened for bathing.
