We picked our five favorite pies we found on Long Island. What’s on your list?

 

Youngs Farms - This farm was founded in 1893. So they’ve been around a while and we assume they know a thing or two about pies. Baking fresh pies on premises their list includes apple, coconut, dark cherry, pear, peach, and many more. Pie to try: The Apple Crisp Pie in season for fall. Hometown Bake Shop - A bake shop with a focus on great baked goods and a family atmosphere. What to try: Banoffee Pie, a creamy custard over bananas, caramel and chocolate ganache topped with a chocolate ganache and caramel drizzle in a buttery crust.
