Gordon Heights, NY - August 22, 2018 - Suffolk County Police last night arrested a man following a shooting in Gordon Heights.
 
Sixth Precinct officers responded to a 911 report of a shooting at the residence located at 108 Gray Ave. at 8:16 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21. When officers arrived, they found a man, Courtney Clarke, had been shot four times, twice in each leg. Clarke had been involved in an argument with Donovan Felder, which led to Felder shooting Clarke with a 9mm handgun. Felder then fled the scene.
 
Clarke, 32, of Bay Shore, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital in stable condition.
 
Felder, 29, turned himself in at the Sixth Precinct at 8:25 p.m. Detectives charged Felder with Assault 2nd Degree. Felder is being held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on August 22.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
