Update - December 9, 2016 - The Homicide Squad has identified the above victim as Patrick Rogers, 57, no known address. After an investigation, detectives have determined that the above death is not deemed a homicide.

Elmont, NY - December 8, 2016 - The Homicide Squad is investigating a Homicide that occurred in Elmont on Thursday, December 08, 2016 at 8:02 am.
According to detectives, Fifth Precinct Police responded to an alleyway between 20 Huntley Road and Wellington Road and discovered a 57 year old male ( unknown address ) lying on the grass deceased. There is no apparent criminality at this time. The body was removed to the Nassau County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing.
