SCPD: Man Stabbed and Critically Wounded in Brentwood, Suspects Flee Scene in Vehicle

Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a stabbing that critically injured a man in Brentwood on Saturday, July 22.
 
A man was sitting in a chair on the sidewalk in front of 1 MacArthur Ave. when two men in a black car stopped in front of him at approximately 10:25 p.m. The men got out of the car, and one of them walked up to the man sitting in the chair and stabbed him in the abdomen. 
 
The two men got back in the car and fled the scene.
 
The victim, who has not yet been identified by police, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore in critical condition.
 
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the stabbing to contact the Third Squad at 631-854-8352 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
