Ronkonkoma, NY - February 3rd, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to locate a group of people who assaulted an employee of a bar in Ronkonkoma in January.  
 
An employee of Richie B’s Diamond Club, located at 33 Railroad Ave., was at the club while off-duty and attempted to help two bartenders that were having an issue with a group of patrons who were refusing to leave a credit card for a bar tab on January 1 at approximately 4:10 a.m. During the dispute, one of the patrons attacked the off-duty employee. The group, 4 males and 3 females, dragged the victim out of the bar and continued to hit him on the sidewalk. The group fled and the victim was treated at a hospital for his injuries. 
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
