Long Island Comedian, Producer and Promoter Paul Anthony announces the return of the Annual Long Island Comedy Festival this summer, now in it's 16th year!

The goals of the Long Island Comedy Festival have always been:

  1. Support the regional theaters across Long Island
  2. Promote & expose more comedians to Long Island audiences
  3. Bring Laughter & Fun to Long Island

Comedy Festival performances are scheduled at top venues across Long Island, all summer long. Several new locations have been added this year, giving more Long Islanders an opportunity to enjoy an evening of non-stop laughter and hilarious fun.

"When we launched the Long Island Comedy Festival back in the summer of 2006, our goal was to support the many theater venues across the Island with a high quality production that would also be profitable for them. That goal is still part of our mission" said Paul Anthony. He added, "So many of the theater venues here are still having challenges as a result of the pandemic. We are moving forward and working hard to help bring audiences back to these beautiful venues. We are very confident we'll achieve this during the run of the Comedy Festival.

The comedians we will be featuring are all tops in the world of comedy. They've been featured on late night tv, on Comedy Central, HBO, they've performed in Atlantic City, Vegas. The line-ups are incredible. You would NOT see this level of comic talent all on one stage at other comedy shows.

That's what has distinguished the Long Island Comedy Festival all these years, and it still does. At the end of the day we are out to make audiences laugh, forget about their worries for a little while, and feel good. And that's what keeps us all motivated to keep doing this and moving ahead. It is an incredible feeling to have attendees meet us after one of the performances and tell us that they have never laughed so hard in their life. It's extremely gratifying. We are very grateful to be able to do this."
