Spice up your next event with Sangria 71’s on site Paella Party

Print Email

With locations in both Williston Park and Commack, Sangria 71 is serving up flavors of Spain with traditional dishes, one-of-a-kind cocktails (most popular, their house made sangrias) and a welcoming atmosphere. Owners and brothers, José and Rosendo Fernández came to the U.S. with their family when they were just five years old. Their father, Rosendo Sr. was already iliving n the states while cooking at a Spanish restaurant, Rincón de España near Washington Square Park since the 60s. The brother duo always believed that food was the center of any family and with that always in mind, went on to open their own restaurants.

Sangria 71’s menu emphasizes tapas (small plates), traditional meats, fresh seafood, but most importantly their Paella, four variations to be exact. Paella is Spain’s classic saffron rice dish, but these brothers are showcasing a few different versions from their Paella Valencia (saffron rice, clams, mussels, shrimp, sea scallops, chicken, chorizo) to their Paella Marinera (saffron rice, calamari, mussels, clams, sea scallops, shrimp), and even a vegetarian option for our vegan friends.

Lucky for you, both locations offer their signature on site Paella Party, for those looking to do something a bit off the cusp for their next event. Chef along with an assistant, prepares a 5 foot pan of your favorite paella, with smaller options also catered from the restaurant for a minimum of 50 people. Sangria dispensers are also an add-on, with your choice of classic red or white and your pick of flavors. Your guests will be wowed by the giant Paella and will be sure to enjoy the flavors of Spain right under your own roof. For more information on Sangria 71 and to inquire about an upcoming event, visit here. Sangria 71 also offers tapas buffet catering options as well as other Spanish favorites.
