Rifle-Wielding Bandit Holds Up Valley Stream Deli, According to Police

Valley Stream, NY - June 29, 2018 - The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Valley Stream on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 10:08 am in Valley Stream.
 
According to Robbery Squad detectives, an unknown subject entered into the Happiness and Fortune Deli located at 246 North Central Avenue. He approached a 42 year old male employee and demanded cash from the register while pointing a long rifle with a wooden handle. The victim complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of US currency. The subject then fled on foot last observed running west on Fritchie Place. There were no customers or other employees in the store. There were no injuries reported.
 
The subject is best described as being male, black, light skinned, 30 years of age, slight build, 5’10” – 6’0” tall, 150 Lbs, red/white yankee hat.
