Up to $5,000 Crime Stoppers Award Offered for Information Leading to an Arrest

Baldwin, NY - June 10, 2014 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano today announced that the Nassau County Police Department is seeking the public’s help with identifying the individual(s) responsible in connection with numerous cases of Criminal Mischief that have occurred in the Baldwin community.
 
Reportedly between May 6th and May 27th, 2014, in the vicinity of Grand Avenue and Merrick Road in Baldwin, an unknown person has defaced various properties with graffiti. Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who can identify the person(s) responsible, or anyone who has information about these cases to call 1-800-244-TIPS. You do not have to reveal your identity to help solve the crime.
 
County Executive Mangano stated, “Graffiti will not be tolerated in Nassau County,” said County Executive Mangano. “I urge anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline in an effort to protect and preserve our quality of life in Nassau County.”
