Two Arrests Made in Connection with Wantagh and Levittown Armed Robberies, Cops Say

NCPD announced the arrests of Nicholas Rom, 21, and Joelle Sessions, 28, for armed robberies that occurred in Wantagh and Levittown.

Levittown, NY - June 9, 2017 - Second Squad detectives have announced two arrests for robberies that occurred in Wantagh on Tuesday, 09/06/16 at 11:50 P.M and Levittown on on Wednesday, 09/07/16 at 10:40 P.M
 
According to detectives, a male subject, armed with a handgun, approached the clerk at OK Petroleum gas station located at 767 Wantagh Ave. and demanded money Tuesday, 09/06. The victim complied and the subject fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash on Hunt Rd. There were no customers present in the store at the time of the robbery. 
 
According to detectives, a male subject, armed with a silver handgun, entered Ultra gas station located at 3300 Hempstead Tpke., approached the clerk and demanded money. The victim complied and the subject fled on foot westbound on Hempstead Tpke., with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no customers present in the store at the time of the robbery.
 
No injuries were reported during either incident.
 
Robbery Squad detectives report the arrest of Nicholas Rom, 21, and Joelle Sessions, 28, both of Levittown, on Thursday, 06/08/17 in connection with the above listed robberies. The defendants are each being charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Robbery 2nd Degree and will be arraigned on Friday, 06/09/17, in First District Court, Hempstead.
