Check out this high-five from Betsy, the new big girl in town. Betsy is a peppy princess, perhaps Border Collie/Smooth Collie, who will entertain you with her "sit", "paw" "down" and "high-five" commands so long as you properly bribe her with a tasty treat, but not too many–Betsy is currently weighing in at 71 pounds. Betsy transferred to Last Hope from Babylon Shelter where she was an unclaimed stray found in Wyandanch. Betsy is estimated to be about 8 yet she has more spunk and energy than a pack of puppies. She loves to run and go for long walks too. For more information about this cute teddy bear, check out her webpage.

Wow- Berkeley has the most amazing big beautiful eyes. Everyone thinks this little fella' is simply adorable with his handsome tabby markings and white paws and bib. Berkeley was found under a car with his sister when they were very small. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers, because it probably saved their lives. Berkeley is estimated to have been born in June 2014 and will make someone an awesome new Best Friend Forever! Please come by and see him for yourself. He also gets along well with other nice kitties. For more information on adopting Berkeley, check out his webpage.

Right next door at TOH Animal Shelter you can meet beautiful Banjo. This 75 pound meatball arrived as a stray in March 2016 and has been waiting for a home ever since. Banjo is a big goof ball and is totally sweet and mushy with people. Banjo has lots of fans at the shelter who work with him on his obedience, and he is doing great! He knows sit, and is working on "heel". He also is a 'leaner', which will just melt your heart! Oh, and one more thing, he has the mushiest, cutest cheeks! Banjo is currently looking for a solo pet home. If you would like to learn more, please call the shelter to speak to a staff member today: 516-785-5220 or come in to fill out an application: 3320 Beltagh Avenue, Wantagh NY 11793!

As always, thanks for reading and please remember to always adopt, never shop...pass it on!
