The Public Information Office reports the details of an auto accident that occurred on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. in Uniondale.
According to Police, First Precinct Officers responded to a vehicle that had struck an apartment building located at 340 Uniondale Avenue. The 64-year-old female operator was traveling westbound on Uniondale Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle.
The driver was transported to a nearby hospital for minor injury. One female and one male inside of the building were not injured but transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation. The occupants of four apartment units will be temporarily displaced.
The investigation is ongoing.
