Third Squad Detectives report the arrest of a Queens man for Assault that occurred in Greenvale.
 
According to Detectives, police responded to the home of a juvenile victim, who complained of substantial pain and bruising which he sustained while playing basketball at Sid Jacobsen Jewish Center. Upon arrival, officers were informed that the injuries were inflicted by Cheikh Kadim Ndiaye, who punched the boy, with a closed fist, in both of his arms while functioning as an intramural basketball coach. After an investigation, the defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Third Precinct for arrest processing.
 
Defendant Cheikh Khadim Ndiaye is charged with Assault 3rd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was arraigned in First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
