East Meadow, NY - November 27, 2017 - The First Squad reports the details of an arrest for Robbery that occurred on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 8:00 pm in East Meadow.
 
According to detectives, a 59 year old male victim was dispatched to deliver Chinese food to a residence on Dale Avenue. When the victim arrived at the location, a male exited the residence, displayed a steak knife and demanded money. The victim complied and the subject fled on foot in an unknown direction. After an investigation, detectives obtained a consent search of the residence and placed defendant Ronald O’Leary, 59, under arrest. The knife and proceeds were recovered inside the home.
 
Defendant O’Leary is being charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Monday, November 27, 2017 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
