Governor Cuomo Deploys DFS Mobile Command Center To Locations In Suffolk County

Trained Staff to Help Sandy Victims with Applications for Federal Housing and Business Recovery Aid.

Albany, NYMay 6, 2013 - Governor Andrew M. Cuomo is continuing to deploy representatives of the Department of Financial Services (DFS) to locations in Suffolk County over the next several days to help homeowners and business owners affected by Superstorm Sandy apply for recovery aid that was approved by the federal government last week.


The Department’s representatives will be available to meet with residents inside the agency's Mobile Command Center, which will be stationed at these locations:

Wednesday, May 8
Town Hall

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM


DFS representatives will also be available to assist with insurance-related issues stemming from damage caused by Sandy. Additional locations will be announced in the future.
